Rāwhiti School ‘Goal Setting’ Meetings – Tuesday 1st February 2022
We will be starting the 2022 school year with Goal Setting meetings on Tuesday 1st February 2022. While this is our first day of school for the year, children are only required to attend their Goal Setting meeting with their parent/caregiver and teacher, and then they can go home.
- Parents will need to make a booking via the online booking system.
Visit www.schoolinterviews.co.nz and enter the event code: tv6hd
Please ensure that you make the booking for your child’s 2022 class. For some children, this will be a different class than the one they are in for 2021. If you are unsure there is a separate page in the envelope which tells you which room your child is in for 2022.
To ensure these meetings are carried out safely it is essential that you make a booking for your meeting. You will not be able to ‘just turn up’. We need to know who is on-site, and be able to manage the numbers and social distancing. Parents will need to scan in and wear a mask.
Meeting Format
Teachers will start the meeting with a brief introduction which will be followed by time for children and parents/caregivers to complete an individual goal setting sheet. These are not parent interviews. The purpose of the meeting is for teachers to get to know you and your child a little better and to hear what your goals for your child are for the start of the year.
Meetings will last for 30 minutes.
If you have more than one child in Ata Hapara you will need to make 2x 30 minute bookings (1 hour in total) for your whānau.
Children do not need to wear their uniform for the Goal Setting Meetings.
You are welcome to bring your child’s stationery along to this meeting.
School will begin for full instruction on Wednesday 2nd February at 9am. There will be a short mihi whakatau/welcome for new students and their families at 9.15am.
